Warranty & Returns
Annview supplies commercial display products for business use. Warranty coverage depends on the product, configuration and project scope, and will be confirmed before purchase or on the invoice.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty normally covers faults caused by defects in materials or workmanship under normal use. Depending on the product, warranty may cover parts, repair, replacement components, product replacement or return-to-base assessment.
Annview Installed Products
For products installed by Annview, warranty support includes reasonable onsite attendance for warranty faults within the agreed warranty scope and service area. This applies to faults covered by warranty, not to damage, misuse, unsuitable site conditions, third-party changes or work outside the original installation scope.
Products Not Installed by Annview
For products not installed by Annview, warranty support is limited to hardware assessment, repair, replacement parts or product replacement. Onsite service, removal, reinstallation, electrician work, access equipment, third-party labour and freight are not included unless agreed in writing.
Replacement Models
If the same model is no longer available, Annview may supply a compatible replacement model with equivalent or better practical performance. Where an exact same-size replacement is not available, Annview may supply the same size where practical or the next suitable larger size, provided it is reasonably compatible with the original application.
Software, Accounts and Content Backups
Customers are responsible for keeping their own backup of software, media content, playlists, login details, licence keys, CMS accounts, device settings and other digital materials. This includes content stored on media players, OPS modules, Android boards, PCs, USB drives, cloud signage platforms or third-party software systems.
Repair, reset, replacement, software update or hardware service may result in data or configuration loss. Annview is not responsible for restoring or compensating for lost content, software, accounts, settings or files unless this has been agreed in writing as part of the service scope.
Limits of Warranty Support
To the extent permitted by law, Annview’s warranty responsibility is limited to the affected product itself. Warranty remedies may include repair, replacement, replacement parts, refund or another remedy available under the warranty terms or Australian Consumer Law. Where Australian Consumer Law gives the customer a choice of remedy, Annview will not limit that choice.
Warranty does not cover indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, lost advertising time, loss of business opportunity, loss of data or content, third-party labour, building works, access equipment, electrician costs, removal or reinstallation costs, unless Annview has agreed to those costs in writing or they cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Warranty Exclusions
- Physical damage, misuse, impact, incorrect operation or unauthorised repair.
- Incorrect installation, relocation or modification by others.
- Power surge, lightning, unstable power supply or unsuitable electrical work.
- Water ingress, corrosion, heat damage or ventilation issues caused by site conditions or external works.
- Content burn-in, image retention, normal wear, consumables or cosmetic wear from normal use.
- Software, media player, network or content management issues caused by third-party changes.
How to Request Support
Email info@annview.com.au with your invoice number, product model, fault description, photos or video of the issue, and details of the installation location. We may ask for basic troubleshooting before arranging repair, parts or assessment.
Refunds, Returns and Cancellations
Annview supplies commercial display products, many of which are oversized, heavy, custom configured, special-order or installed for a specific site. Please choose carefully and confirm product size, brightness, mounting, access, freight and installation requirements before ordering.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns are not automatically available. Custom-built, special-order, installed, opened, configured, used or project-specific products are generally not eligible for return unless Annview agrees in writing or a remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law.
If Annview approves a non-quality return, the product must be returned in original condition, with original packaging, accessories and manuals. The customer is responsible for round-trip freight, transit insurance, safe packaging and any reasonable restocking, inspection, repacking or payment processing costs, where permitted by law.
Faulty or Quality-Issue Returns
If a product is confirmed by Annview to have a fault or quality issue covered by warranty or Australian Consumer Law, Annview will work with the customer on the appropriate remedy. For a minor problem this may include troubleshooting, repair, replacement parts or product replacement. For a major problem, the customer may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement, or another remedy required by law.
For confirmed quality issues, Annview will not charge inspection or repacking fees where Annview is responsible for the issue under the applicable warranty terms or Australian Consumer Law. For large, heavy or hard-to-remove products, Annview will arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return freight where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Order Cancellations
Standard stock orders may be cancelled before dispatch if Annview confirms the cancellation in writing. Custom, special-order or project-built products may not be cancellable once procurement, production, configuration, freight booking or installation preparation has started. If cancellation is approved after costs have been incurred, Annview may deduct those reasonable costs from any refund, where permitted by law.
How to Request a Return or Refund
Email info@annview.com.au with your invoice number, product model, reason for the request, photos or video where relevant, and delivery or installation details. Products must not be returned without written approval from Annview.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing on this page excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees. Customers may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or another remedy where required by law.
